Sometimes pets have a need for advanced procedures in which general practice veterinarians are not equipped. While we offer many surgical procedures in house, when your pet needs advanced orthopedic, neurologic, or soft tissue surgery, we call in the expertise of a referral surgeon. Depending on the procedure needed our doctors will council you to help you make the best decision for optimal recovery.
In many cases we will refer to a mobile surgeon who will consult with our doctors about your pet’s surgical procedure and will perform this procedure at our hospital.
The doctors at Lewisburg Animal Hospital will care for your pet right up to the procedure and then provide follow up care after the surgery. Our clients enjoy the convenience of being able to have their pet’s advanced surgery right here in town.
