Boarding Profile

All pets staying at Maggie-Roo must be free of external and internal parasites. Any pets found to have parasites will be immediately treated with an anti-parasitic medication at additional expense to the owner. For the safety of our guest and staff, current vaccinations and an annual fecal exam are needed to board. A pet current on heartworm prevention or treated for intestinal parasites in the last 12 months is acceptable if a fecal exam has not been performed. All cats must be negative for FELV/FIV and records must be available. If your pet is not current or current records are unavailable, these vaccines or tests will be performed by Lewisburg Animal Hospital, at an additional expense to you. All leashes and collars will be removed for your pet’s safety. We provide your pet with all amenities needed for a comfortable stay. If you choose to leave personal items, please note that we are not responsible if they are lost or damaged. Pets are allowed to board together as long as they are comfortable in the amount of space provided and have a harmonious relationship. Although we pay very close attention to your pets physical and mental wellbeing, it is impossible to predict frustration or aggravation resulting in aggression. If we notice indications of potential aggression, for your pet’s safety we will separate them for the remainder of their stay. If one of your pets injures a roommate, we will treat the injured pet(s) immediately, make every effort to contact you, and separate your pets for the remainder of their stay. We may require that they board separately from that point forward to help avoid future problems. (Please note in the special care space who you would like to board together as well as if they need to be fed separately or any other special instructions etc.,) If instructions are not clearly written then we will board your pets separately.

If my pet becomes ill or an emergency arises, I authorize Lewisburg Animal Hospital to treat my pet as medically necessary for the health and comfort of my pet. I understand every attempt will be made to contact me; however, services will not be withheld if I am unreachable. I will be financially responsible for all services rendered. I have read the above conditions, understand and agree to them.

For the safety of your pet and other pets, all dogs and cats must be current on vaccines, up to date on flea prevention and up to date on fecal testing or internal parasite treatment to board at either facility. To be sure your pet is protected, we require your pet be updated at a minimum of 7 days before the start of their reservation. If your pet is not up to date on vaccines, it important to discuss your options with guest services at Maggie-Roo or a customer service representative at Lewisburg Animal Hospital before the day of your reservation. However, if your pet needs updating but is not past due you can request below to have your pet updated by Lewisburg Animal Hospital during their stay.

Maggie-Roo is pleased to offer 10% off grooming services for any pet that stays at least one night. If you choose to have your pet groomed, you may be asked to leave your pet for the majority the day.

Maggie-Roo Pet Retreat & Grooming Salon & Lewisburg Animal Hospital requires payment in full at the end of your pets stay. We ask that you understand and fulfill your responsibility for the payment of your account balance. WE ACCEPT CASH, CHECK, MONEY ORDER, VISA/MASTERCARD, AMERICAN EXPRESS or DISCOVER CLIENT RESPONSIBLITY AND ADDITIONAL TERMS Unpaid accounts are subject to a delinquent fee of $25.00. Furthermore, the unpaid balance is subject to a 1 ½% monthly (18% Annual) finance charge with a $4.00 minimum. If we must submit your unpaid account to a collection process you will be responsible for all charges our practice incurs; including late fees, finance fees, collection cost, staff costs, court filing fees and reasonable attorney’s fees. Any returned checks or credit card payments will carry a $35.00 service charge. Thank you for understanding our Financial Policy.
